Written by John Lisyanskiy after coming to our school....
I was truly honored and very graciously hosted by the amazing IS 303 Principal Carmen Amador! She gave me an unprecedented view inside her school as we toured this proud jewel in our community. I met many incredible educators who deeply care about their work and their students. I have to give a special shout out to our great councilman Domenic Recchia, Councilman Domenic M. Recchia Jr. whose name I heard repeatedly moving through the school for amazing work he has done by bringing very necessary and scarce resources. I was happy to stand in front of the schools student government body and discuss their issues and concerns and I am so proud of them. Not to understate, but education is absolutely paramount in everything that we strive for in this world and by having people provide it who care so deeply about it, is truly priceless! What a truly great model of success, now I know why in the entrance they proudly hang GRADE A!
