Thanksgiving Food Drive!

       It's that time of the year again, the Thanksgiving Food Drive! This will make a difference in our community as the food we raised will greatly help the less fortunate families. We want all the food you can provide.

       We encourage all students to join us in our efforts to help our less fortunate neighbors by providing or collecting non-perishable food for our neighbors. Some food includes the following items:
  • Soups
  • Stuffing
  • Cranberry sauce
  • Mashed Potatoes
  • Canned Meats
  • Gravy
  • Vegetable
  • Macaroni and Cheese Boxed
  • Pasta and Pasta Sauce
  • Rice
  • Biscuit Box/Corn bread
  • Crackers
  • Cookies
  • Sugar, Coffee, Teach or Drink Mix
  • Fruit Juice

Safety First!

       N.Y.C schools have received threats via social media. Although the N.Y.P.D confirmed that the threats were not credible, we are and will still be on the lookout, closely partnered with the N.Y.P.D, for any possible occurrences or suspicious activity throughout the school proximity.

       If threats have been made directly to you, students, or your child, please report them to the N.Y.P.D.

General Organization

       The General Organization allows students to represents their school by expressing their opinions, managing important aspect, as well as assisting with governing authorities of the school.

     

       Members of the G.O community will be eligible to part take in a school election to form a student government.

   

       An election will be held and the  representative from each category will carry on this year's work.

  • One President from 8th grade
  • One Vice President from 7th or 8th grade.
  • One Secretary from any grade.
  • One treasurer from any grade.
  • One Representative from each grade. (6th, 7th, and 8th)

Cost: $ 5.00

Physical Education
       Guidelines and policies which your child is required to follow regarding preparation, medical excuses, behavior and participation:
 
       1. Child who has a medical condition MUST complete the I.S. 303 medical form from his/her doctor.
 
       2. Any student who cannot participate MUST bring in a note from his/her parent to be excused for the day.
 
       3. Sneakers and gym uniform must be worn during P.E activities.

Cost of Uniforms

T-Shirt: $ 10.00
Shorts: $ 15.00
Consequences
Failure to conform to the rules will lead to a failing grade.
Benefits
       Surplus funds will be used to buy new equipment which will in turn benefit P.E activities for the school and your child.
